Process explorer

Adalah program kecil buatan sysinternal untuk melihat proses apa yang sedang berjalan di memori. Process explorer sangat dikenal luas dikalangan anti virus maupun pembuat virus, sehingga  kadang-kadang virus-virus tertentu mengenali program ini dan langsung mendelet nya. Autoruns

Autoruns adalah software kecil yang termasuk didalam sysinternal pack, sebenarnya digunakan untuk menampilkan program-program apa saja yang dijalankan pada saat loading windows pertama kali. Dengan demikian program ini mampu menampilkan program apapun  yang akan dipanggil saat awal booting, walaupun program tersebut tidak kelihatan ketika menggunakan task manager (CTRL + ALT + DELETE) maupun process explorer dan program semacamnya. Penggunaan program ini harus hati-hati karena apabila terjadi kesalahan mendelete, program yang bersangkutan tidak bisa berjalan (kadang-kadang disalah-artikan orang bahwa windowsnya rusak, hang dsb)

The Killer Machine

Tool kecil ini dapat digunakan sebagai windows tweak untuk mengembalikan beberapa setting windows yang sering disembunyikan oleh virus. Ada 4 fungsi utama yang disediakan oleh The Killer machine, yaitu repair, Virus removal, OEM Editor, dan Process Manager.

Gambar berikutnya adalah fungsi Repair / Tweak. Untuk menghidupkan registry, cukup aktifkan tanda cawang di samping tulisan enable Registry editor.. dan seterusnya.



Gambar berikutnya adalah fungsi virus black list. Sebenarnya ini adalah melakukan black listing terhadap program-program tertentu yang “positif” dikenali sebagai virus.


fungsi berikutnya adalah process explorer. Disini ditampilkan semua proses yang sedang berjalan di memori. Anda kemudian dapat melakukan freeze (penghentian sementara) atau terminate (penghentian total) program dari memori. Kelemahan menggunakan utility ini adalah : apabila nama virus sama dengan nama proses windows yang sah “legal process”, maka proses virus tersebut dianggap kepunyaan windows dan tidak bisa di freeze maupun terminate.

Kadang-kadang ada virus tertentu yang mengubah setting komputer kita. Untuk mengembalikannya, tinggal diedit di OEM Editor. 
Nah, gambar diatas adalah salah satu kegoblokan pembuat software indonesia yang tidak menghargai privacy seseorang. Ini bukan virus, tapi saya beli buku yang dilengkapi CD, ketika CD saya masukkan ke komputer saya, tiba-tiba gambar yang tidak saya inginkan tersebut nampang di komputer saya.
Bukannya bangga komputer saya diselipi gambar itu, tapi yang jelas privacy saya terganggu. Saya khan lebih suka gambar saya sendiri yang nampang di komputer saya, Bro!.

USB Vaccine

USB Vaccine adalah tool kecil yang digunakan untuk mematikan fungsi autorun CD/DVD maupun flash disk. Pada komputer fungsi ini sama dengan mengedit gpedit.msc [lihat postingan saya disini], sedangkan pada flash disk, fungsi ini membuat file autorun.inf tidak bisa diubah lagi, sehingga virus yang menggunakan autorun.inf untuk memanggil dirinya tidak bisa jalan lagi (tapi masih akan berjalan kalau anda klik dua kali).

INGAT : anda tidak bisa mengubah autorun.inf bila menggunakan tools ini, kecuali flash disk anda format ulang

Ultimate Washer

Tool yang dibuat oleh Ertanto ini sebenarnya merupakan search tool, yaitu tool untuk mencari file-file yang sama dengan file target. Jadi misalkan anda mempunyai virus yuyun berupa thumb.db; autorun.inf, maka dengan tool ini keberadaan file tersebut dapat dilacak dan didelete secara keseluruhan. Tool juga dilengkapi dengan process explorer yang mempunyai kemampuan untuk  terminate process dan  registry tweak yang justru untuk Hide registry.

RegSeeker

Regseeker adalah Registry finder yang cukup ampuh. Program ini kecil, namun mampu mencari nilai suatu registry dengan cepat. Selain itu dilengkapi pula dengan registry cleaner, tweaking windows registry, backup registry dan lain-lain. Program ini gratis untuk penggunaan pribadi (nggak salah, saya juga pakai untuk pribadi kok).

Reg Tick Pro

RegtickPro berfungsi hampir sama dengan Regseeker dan sebangsanya, namun kemudahan yang ditawarkan adalah fungsi-fungsi yang sering diubah di windows, ditampilkan langsung, sehingga kita tinggal mencawangnya. Beberapa fungsi windows yang sering dilakukan tweak adalah Start Menu, Control pannel, dekstop, Internet Explorer, network, media dan keamanan. Program ini gratis, bahkan disertakan pula source code apabila anda ingin mempelajari dan turut mengembangkannya

UNLOCKER

Software ini digunakan untuk meng-unlock file sehingga dapat didelete dengan mudah. Ketika sebuah file dibuka oleh kita, atau dibuka orang lain dalam satu jaringan, maka windows otomatis membuat sebuah file lock yang berguna sebagai penanda bahwa file tersebut masih digunakan, jadi jangan didelete. Normalnya ketika file kita tutup, file locknya juga hilang. Dalam kasus tertentu, file lock tersebut tidak bisa didelete windows secara otomatis.
Nah, fungsi file ini adalah untuk mendelete file lock tersebut, sehingga file anda dapat dimanipulasi lagi (delete, diubah, dicopy, terserah saja) demgan aman.

WARKING

Warking (warnet hacking) dulu aslinya digunakan untuk meng-enablekan beberapa registry yang memang dimatikan oleh warnet sebagai upaya pengamanan. Program ini kecil, menggunakan visual basic. Untuk mengaktifkan beberapa registry, anda tinggal mencontreng di kotak yang bersesuaian. Sangat Praktis

Free Extended Task Manager

Sebenarnya Free Task Manager sama saja dengan Windows Taks Manager dari sisi kegunaan, Namun sesuai dengan namnya, ada fungsi-fungsi yang ditambahkan, yaitu :

1. Menunjukkan aktivitas input-output dan progarm apa yang menggunakannya.
2. Menunjukkan aktivitas port network dilengkapi dengan Alamat IP komputer yang dihubungi
3. Menunjukkan semua file yang di-lock oleh sebuah proses tertentu
4. Dapat mem-freeze program Dan masih banyak lagi. Download aja sendiri!

Tidak ada antivirus yang paling hebat, karena virus akan selangkah lebih maju dari anti virusnya sendiri. Antivirus sendiri baru dibuat setelah virus ada. Setiap hari selalu lahir varian virus baru, sehingga membuat anti virus yang kita miliki tidak berdaya menghadang kedatangannya. Pembuat virus memang sangat kreatif, agar virus dapat melenggang dengan aman di komputer biasanya ia akan melumpuhkan antivirus yang ada terlebih dahulu. Dengan demikian antivirus ibarat macan ompong yang tidak bisa berbuat apa-apa. Tapi sobat tidak perlu khawatir, karena masih ada jurus jitu untuk membuat virus mati kutu yaitu kita musnahkan dengan virus removal the killer machine.

Apa itu The Killer Machine ?

The Killer Machine merupakan tool removal yang dapat membunuh/menghapus hampir semua jenis virus/trojan (baik varian yang telah ada atau varian yang terbaru). tool ini dapat mencari dan menghapus semua file yang terinfeksi (virus/trojan) dengan cepat dan teliti. The killer machine tidak memerlukan update virus-definition karena penentuan file yang merupakan virus/trojan dilakukan oleh user (Anda sendiri). File yang di curigai sebagai virus kita tandai dan hapus menggunakan fasilitas yang telah disediakan.

Tool ini juga dapat memperbaiki kerusakan pada system yang biasa dilakukan oleh virus/trojan.Untuk menggunakan tidak perlu diinstal cukup jalankan dari compact disk (CD), disket dan flash disk.


Menu VIRUS REMOVAL :

Gunakan menu “Virus Removal” untuk menghapus virus/trojan yang menginfeksi Komputer.
Pada menu ini Anda akan diminta memilih satu file yang diyakini sebagai virus dari file yang sedang aktif pada sistem (process list) atau pada disk. Saat pemilihan file Anda harus yakin bahwa file yang dipilih merupakan virus/Trojan.
(PENTING : baca lebih lanjut cara penggunaan menu Virus Removal dan Ciri Umum Virus).

Menu REPAIR (TWEAK) :

Aplikasi ini dilengkapi dengan menu “Repair (tweak)” untuk memperbaiki beberapa sistem yang biasanya dirusak oleh virus/ trojan. Disarankan memberikan tanda centrang pada semua opsi yang terdapat pada menu REPAIR (TWEAK).

Menu PROCESS MANAGER :

Aplikasi ini juga menyertakan menu “Process Manager”, yang dapat Anda gunakan untuk menghentikan / mengakhiri (freeze/terminate) proses yang sedang berjalan pada sistem. Fungsinya sama dengan taskmanager dan memiliki kelebihan menghentikan / mengakhiri proses secara bersamaan (lebih dari satu file).

Menu OEM Editor :

Menu OEM Editor, digunakan untuk merubah nama register dan perusahaan serta menambahkan logo yang dapat terlihat pada sistem properties. (beberapa virus merubah sistem properties komputer).

Menu VIRUS REMOVAL
Pada menu Virus Removal terdapat dua pilihan
(pilih 1 metode yang mudah bagi Anda dalam memilih virus) :

1. From process list:
Pencarian/ Pemilhan file (virus) pada daftar program-program yang sedang aktif pada sistem windows.

2. Browse on disk
Pencarian/ Pemilhan file (virus) pada disk (hardisk, floppy, flashdisk).
Tambahan : Sobat harus yakin bahwa file yang dipilih adalah VIRUS.

• Choose from process list :

File (Applikasi) yang sedang aktif pada sistem windows.
Tips : Gunakan tanda panah pada keyboard untuk memudahkan pemilihan file pada process list.

Setelah sobat memilih file (applikasi) yang merupakan sebuah virus selanjutnya kilk scan untuk memulai pencarian dan penghapusan semua virus (sesuai dengan file yang dipilih) pada disk yang diberi tanda centrang. Icon file yang dipilih akan ditampilkan pada kotak gambar icon.

PENTING : Process list adalah daftar dari semua program/applikasi yang sedang aktif pada windows, jangan melakukan kesalahan dalam pemilihan file.

Tambahan : Jika computer terinfeksi oleh lebih dari satu jenis varian, masuklah terlebih dahulu ke menu process manager, kemudian beri tanda centrang pada varian2 virus tersebut.
Klik FREEZE, kemudian masuk ke menu virus removal, lakukan SCAN terhadap varian2 virus.

• Browse on disk :

Setelah Anda memilih file (applikasi) yang merupakan sebuah virus maka kilk scan untuk memulai pencarian dan penghapusan semua virus (sesuai dengan file yang dipilih) pada disk yang diberi tanda centrang. Icon file yang dipilih akan ditampilkan pada kotak gambar icon.

INGAT !!!, jangan melakukan kesalahan dalam pemilihan file.

TIPS :
Masukkan FlashDisk Kemudian tunggu sampai virus tersebut mengCOPY file ke flashdisk, jalankan program the killer machine, gunakan metode Browse from disk (pilih file virus pada flash disk tersebut).

Tambahan : Jika computer terinfeksi oleh lebih dari satu jenis varian, maka masuk terlebih dahulu ke menu process manager, kemudian beri tanda centrang pada varian2 virus tersebut.
Klik FREEZE, kemudian masuk ke menu virus removal, lakukan SCAN terhadap varian2 virus.

CONTOH UMUM VIRUS YANG BANYAK BEREDAR

Beberapa icon yang biasa digunakan pembuat virus :
Kasus yang sering ditemukan adalah virus yang menggunakan icon folder berwarna kuning (brontok, anjing, save the world, etc.), icon file document word (kangen, code-x, Fawn, etc), icon gambar (runitis, etc.). Yang harus Anda ketahui ialah icon tersebut merupakan milik dari Microsoft dan tidak digunakan untuk sebuah applikasi. Jika ada applikasi yang memakai salah satu dari icon tersebut maka kemungkinan besar adalah sebuah virus.

Tujuan pembuat virus menggunakan icon tersebut adalah untuk mengecoh pengguna komputer dan menghilangkan kecurigaan agar virus tersebut mudah diaktifkan (dengan mengkliknya maka virus tersebut akan langsung menginfeksi komputer).

The Killer Machine Versi 4 menampilkan asisten yang akan membantu sobat dalam menggunakan program ini dan dapat ditampilkan dengan mengkilik menu Option (tanda bintang pada form utama). ***XP

TROUBLESHOOTING
Dijumpai kasus (jarang terjadi) computer menjadi Restart pada saat anda memulai SCAN menggunakan program ini. Jika Anda menemukan masalah tersebut maka lakukan penghapusan file pada mode SAFE MODE.
Caranya :
1. Saat windows mulai Booting, tekan F8 sampai ada muncul screen pilihan mode.
2. Pilih mode Safe Mode, kemudian jalankan kembali thekillermachine.
